Day 01: MEDAN – BOHOROK/BUKIT LAWANG
Upon arrival at the airport, greet and proceed the drive on the roads leads west through vast rubber and oil palm plantation to Bukit Lawang; the orang-utan rehabilitation centre, which was established in 1973. Stop en-route will be at the estates of oil palm and rubber. Upon arrival in Bukit Lawang, crossing the river on a hanging cable plank bridge to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, a rocky path leads to a bend in the river crossing by a cable and pulley driven dug out canoe to reach the station of Orang-utan rehabilitation centre. A quite steep trail through the forest leads to a feeding platform where the orang-utans are fed their twice daily ration of bananas and milk. Watch the orang-utan at the feeding site. Return to the hotel for accommodation and dinner.
Note: The arrival flight should not be later than 09.30

Day 02: BUKIT LAWANG
Breakfast at the hotel. This day is available for trekking to the surrounding rainforest that is located at the Eastern edge of Gunung Leuser National Park with chance to observe various tropical plants including a tangle of enormous trees, twisting lianas, palms, ferns, and weird & wonderful flowers and to luckily see wild animals. Picnic lunch will be provided. Late afternoon return to Bukit Lawang. Accommodation and dinner at the Hotel.

Day 03: BUKIT LAWANG/BOHOROK – MEDAN – BERASTAGI – PARAPAT/SAMOSIR ISLAND
Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time, drive on the same road back to Medan to proceed the drive on the forested foothills of the Bukit Barisan where s-turns provides panoramic view to the delightfully cool and picturesque town of Berastagi through the Nature Reserved of Sibolangit, which lies on an escarpment overlooking the lowlands with en-route stop at scenic view and fruit market selling wonderfully fresh fruits, flowers and vegetables.  After lunch proceed the tour via the scenic back road across the Karo Plateau that skirts the north-eastern edge of the Toba caldera with stops en-route at Lingga Village to see a glimpse of the way of life of the Karo Batak Tribe and their typical houses, Tongging Hill to view the Northern part of Lake Toba and Sipisopiso Waterfall, and also a visit to Pematang Purba to see the long house (Ruma Bolon) which was belonged to the royal families of the Simalungun Batak tribe. Afterwards, the road leads via panoramic view that follows a forested ridge overlooking the Lake to Parapat; a small rocky peninsula jutting into the lake. Upon arrival in Parapat, cruising on Lake Toba to the central isle of Samosir where colourful Toba Batak villages cling to the shore. Overnight accommodation at hotel on Samosir Island.

Day 04: LAKE TOBA CRUISE
Breakfast at the hotel. Cruising on Lake Toba for a day cruise by boat. Inland, visit to Ambarita Village to see the stone furniture as the remnant of the megalithic culture of the Toba Batak, Simanindo Village to see the long house of the Toba Batak King, which now becomes a museum, and a chance to watch Toba Batak folk dance that performed by the villagers, Tao Island for a brief respite and swim in the tranquil water of Lake Toba. Lunch en -route. Then proceed by boat to Tomok Village where carved statues stand in an ancient graveyard as memorial to the kings of bygone days, and chance to hunt souvenir. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: SAMOSIR ISLAND/PARAPAT – MEDAN/AIRPORT

After an early breakfast at the hotel, cruising on Lake Toba back to Parapat to having sightseeing transfer back to Medan via Simalungun area; a highland, which is today a key plantation region passing through the enormous government-owned estate of oil palm, rubber and cocoa. On arrival in Medan, proceed to the airport to catch the flight of onward destination.
Note: The departure flight should later than 13.00

Bukit Lawang : Bukit Lawang Cottage (non starred hotel)
Bukit Lawang Cottage is a fine fanned standard room with private bath, which look on to  the river with basic facilities and surrounded with dense vegetation.
